Two Principal Brass Openings in Berlin

Berlin Philharmonic Logo

The Berlin Philharmonic has announced two openings in their brass section. One is for Principal Horn and the other is for Principal Trumpet. With two principal trumpets currently listed (Gábor Tarkövi and Tamás Velenczei), one would be curious as to who is retiring/leaving/shifting within the section. In the horn section, Stefan Dohr has been the lone Principal Horn for some time, so most likely this is an addition to the principal duties.
