How You Can Help Save Military Music

Yesterday, I posted a video featuring a jazz combo from Navy Band Northwest. All of this is due to a recent amendment proposal by Congresswoman Martha McSally (ironically, a U.S. Air Force Veteran).

All of this started back in March of 2016 when Rep. McSally said in a hearing in front of the Armed Services Committee:

“If we really had a manning crisis, from my perspective, we would really tell people to put down the tuba and pick up a wrench or a gun”*

ACTION ALERT: Here’s What You Can Do To Help Defeat The Destruction Of Military Bands

Please read the post above from Drew McManus of Adaptistration regarding what you can do to prevent Congress from passing this amendment. The U.S. House of Representatives have already passed the amendment, and now it is in the hands of the U.S. Senate.
