Helseth To Perform with Cincinnati in December

In the description for the concert, the Cincinnati Symphony states that “This concert is a brass lover’s dream.” To borrow the colloquialism – #truth.

Legendary Norwegian trumpeter Tine Thing Helseth will fill the recently renovated Music Hall with her sounds on the Arutunian Concerto for Trumpet. The concert, which also features a newly discovered piece by Stravinsky, will be led by Andrey Boreyko as conductor. This two-night concert will be held December 2nd and 3rd. The other two selections on this “brass lover’s” concert include:

  • Stravinsky – Funeral Song
  • Mussorgsky/Ravel – Pictures at an Exhibition
