Brass Lessons
In addition to teaching at four collegiate institutions, Jeremy E. Smith is in demand as a private brass educator throughout the country. While living in Central Ohio, Jeremy has taught weekly lessons to students living throughout the United States as well as Europe.
Lessons are offered for anyone wanting to improve their skills on trumpet, french horn, trombone, bass trombone, tuba, or baritone/euphonium. Students from Jeremy’s studio have earned admission into music programs at schools such as Colorado State University, Bowling Green State University, Michigan State University, and the Ohio State University.
Other students have gained membership in groups including the Ohio State University Marching Band, the Milwaukee Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Ohio OMEA All-State Band, the Stony Brook University Young Artist Program, Chromium Winds, and various district, region, and state ensembles.
Lessons can either be 30 minutes (recommended for beginner/intermediate) or 60 minutes (recommended for advanced/collegiate). In-person lessons are available in a variety of locations depending on where you live in Central Ohio. Online lessons will occur through a variety of video platforms such as Zoom, Google Duo, or Facetime.
