My 2014 Book Reading List

2014 was an excellent year for personal book reading. At the beginning of each year, I always desire to read many books, and I try to set a number…which I never reached. In 2014, I decided I was going to just read and not set any specific goal. Due to that strategy, it was a great success!

Since I am a musician and travel quite a bit each day to performances, rehearsals, and lessons, I decided to try out audiobooks. Being close to quite a few public libraries as well as having apps that link to those libraries, the bulk of my reading list was unabridged audiobooks. The practice of the listening to audiobooks was quite beneficial for me since I was able to knock out many books on my personal reading list and keep myself “occupied” while driving to different locations. Even though the list has a wide variety of topics, each book stirred my thinking and view on society and life. The list is in order of when each book was finished.

Enjoy!
