Tuesdays on the Tube: Stephen Colbert and the LA Philharmonic

A great moment for classical music in pop culture occurred last week. As the Los Angeles Philharmonic was touring New York, the brass section made an appearance on the Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Anytime classical music is able to make an appearance on late night network television, the orchestra gods cheer with excitement.

Enjoy this powerful performance of Aaron Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man.
