The Bordogni Project

The Bordogni etudes are our “go-to” etudes in developing musical style while building solid fundamentals. In the past, I would record these for my students to listen to during the week as well as to use for a reference. Now, I have decided to take on the quest of recording all the etudes on Trombone and Bass Trombone. The goal of the project is to provide a simple, low-tech recording of all etudes from both the Bel Canto Studies (“Roberts”) and the Melodious Etudes (“Rochut”). While there are many other editions of these timeless etudes, these two specific editions are the most common.
