Trumpeter from Desi Arnaz Orchestra Passes Away at 90

Tony Terran, one of the great studio trumpeters from the Golden Age of Television, passed away on March 20th at the age of 90. He was the last surviving member of the Desi Arnaz Orchestra, the ensemble made famous through the show, I Love Lucy. His connections through Los Angeles led him to play in the group The Wrecking Crew, which included Glenn Campbell as one of its members. This ensemble became one of the main L.A. ensembles as it would be the background ensemble for groups such as The Beach Boys, Frank Sinatra, The Monkees, and Sonny & Cher.
