Tuesdays on the Tube: New York, National, Baltimore, and Philadelphia Brass

Henri Tomasi’s Fanfares Liturgiques is a powerful brass composition – one that requires stamina, range, and a good ear. In this video, you get to hear all of these components to the extreme with some of the strongest brass players in the world.

This video from 1996 features brass players from the New York Philharmonic, National, Baltimore, and Philadelphia Orchestras. Listen to the power and intensity each player is able to give whether playing at maximum ensemble sound or in quiet solo passages.

**Note – if anyone can provide the other names of the players that would be most appreciative.
