Tuba/EuphoniumTuesdays on the Tube

Tuesdays on the Tube: Sotto Voce

sotto_voce2

Honestly, one of the most glorious sounds in all of music is a euphonium. Its sound is so pure and heavenly. Sotto Voce is a tuba-euphonium quartet that is bringing this sound to the forefront of brass and music. This group contains world-class artists such as Demondrae Thurman and Mark Carlson on euphonium as well as Nat McInstosh and Mike Forbes on tuba. Their gorgeous, angelic sound in four-part harmony is truly captured by this performance of Benediction by John Stevens.

Enjoy this recording (be sure to turn the volume upward) and close your eyes while you listen to the glorious art performed by a masterful quartet.
