Britten Serenade for Tenor, Horn, and Strings with the Royal Swedish Orchestra

The Royal Swedish Orchestra is celebrating its 500th anniversary and will perform Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring – the modernist ballet that was a notorious success when it premièred in Paris in 1913. Two works by Britten will also be performed: the orchestral suite »Four Sea Interludes« from the opera Peter Grimes, and the serenade, featuring tenor Michael Weinius and German horn player Stefan Dohr.
