Eastman Summer Trombone Institute

Our institute is an intensive, informative, and supportive environment for players who wish to challenge themselves to be the most complete trombonist and musician possible. This workshop is designed for high school and collegiate students, postgraduate musicians, and music educators wishing to further their skill set.
Your institute experience will include:

Rehearsal and performance with our faculty pianist

Recital/Audition Preparation
Improvisation

Doubling on Low Brass Instruments
Additional Info
A short video audition is required for admission to the workshop as a performer. The recording should contain approximately five minutes of music encompassing two contrasting works. These works can be movements (or excerpts of movements) from solo pieces, etudes, or orchestral excerpts. Please include something lyrical and something more technical. To apply, submit a resume and recordings. Please list two references on your résumé.
