Marsalis Trumpet Concerto with “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band

Travel through time and experience the rich history of the trumpet with the Wynton Marsalis Trumpet Concerto. Performed by guest soloist Michael Sachs, principal trumpet of The Cleveland Orchestra, this concerto showcases the comprehensive abilities of the trumpet as well as different genres throughout the ages. In addition to Marsalis’ Trumpet Concerto, the Marine Band will perform Georges Bizet’s renowned and wonderfully dramatic Carmen Symphony.
