With five albums in their catalog, the Factory Seconds provide educational outreach to schools of all levels and have held residences at institutions such as The Juilliard School, Curtis Institute of Music, Indiana University, and the Interlochen Arts Academy.

Richard King joined The Cleveland Orchestra in 1988 and served as Principal Horn from 1997 to 2015. Still a member of the Cleveland horn section, King is also on faculty at the Cleveland Institute of Music.
