Thomas Hooten Collaborates With John Williams On Solo Recording

 

Thomas Hooten, Principal Trumpet of the Los Angeles Philharmonic, has announced that he needs Your Help in making a dream become a reality. On a whim of messaging John Williams’ agent, Hooten has asked the film composer if he would like to take part in helping record William’s Trumpet Concerto. Williams has agreed to the project, Hooten has already hired 81 of LA’s finest musicians for the orchestra. There is just one remaining factor…

According to the Kickstarter page, private donors have already funded a portion for the project.
