Tuesdays on the Tube: Seraph Brass

Sheesh….that sound!!

Literally, this was my initial reaction when I watched/listened to the video below. Even though I have heard of the all-female brass ensemble before, I haven’t listened to their actual playing (forgive me…). Seraph Brass is quickly becoming one of the most high-powered ensembles out there, making a name for themselves on a global level. Made up of some of the most talented women brass players in the U.S., Seraph Brass has traveled all over the world and recently completed a tour throughout the U.S. and Mexico. What is unique about this group is the fact that even though they primarily perform quintet music, their roster pulls from more than five women across the U.S.

While they have released a LIVE CD, look for their debut studio album to come out in January of 2018

Take a listen below, and again – forgive me for not listening sooner.
