Diversify The Stand Commissions 12 Composers For New Trumpet Solo Book

Diversify The Stand is on a mission to listen, learn and promote diverse musical voices. Founded by musicians Carrie Blosser and Ashley Killam, DtS plans to host a podcast, a book club, as well as online resources that continue the call-to-action to build a sustainable platform amplifying all representations of music.

Another project currently in the works is commissioning a book that includes 12 composers who will compose works for a new collection of trumpet music. This solo book will take on a musical level of progression by including pieces for beginner, intermediate and advanced performers. The digital and printed copies of the book will be available for purchase beginning November 2021.

By donating through PayPal, several rewards are available to financial contributors. Crowdfunding will end on Friday, April 2, 2021.
