Seraph Brass Announces New Core Trumpet Member

On August 15, 2025, Seraph Brass announced Morgen Low as the newest core member of their brass ensemble.

An alumna of the New World Symphony, Low received performance training from Northwestern University and the Oberlin Conservatory. She begins this new position with Seraph after spending the 2024-2025 season as Acting Co-Principal Trumpet of the Sarasota Orchestra. Low begins her tenure with Seraph Brass after a nine-year tenure by Raquel Samayoa and will join the other core members of Seraph Brass for the fall tour season.

Jeremy Smith

Jeremy E. Smith is the Founder and Editor of Last Row Music. He received music degrees from Grace College, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Ohio State University. Currently, Jeremy is the bass trombonist of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra and performs throughout Ohio, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Smith is a member of the International Trombone Association and the Jazz Journalists Association.
