Surprise Release from Trumpeter and Vocalist Benny Benack III … Just In Time For The New Year!

On December 25, 2020, Benny Benack III and the Steven Feifke Big Band will release a double single, New Year’s Wish, to follow up to their 2019 holiday EP, Season’s Swingin’ Greetings. The lead single is a fun, high-energy Latin arrangement of “What Are You Doing New Year’s Eve” with a few nods to Mel Torme and Marty Paich. The other tune, “A Midnight Wish,” is a tender heartwarming ballad. The works were masterfully arranged by Steven Feifke and the whole record was tracked remotely due to COVID. Benny Benack III provides a strong and memorable performance on both tunes with his crooning vocals and soaring trumpet solos.
