Tianjin Juilliard School Now Accepting Applications

Tianjin Juilliard School is now accepting applications for its inaugural class in Tianjin, China. The school will offer a Masters in Orchestral Studies, Chambers Studies, and Collaborative Piano from The Juilliard School. More information can be found here: https://tjs-prod.tianjinjuilliard.edu.cn

The horn studio will be accepting around 6 horn students while the trumpet will be accepting around 4 students. The trombone studio will be accepting 2-3 tenors and one bass trombone. Repertoire can be found here: https://live-tianjin.pantheonsite.io/admissions/pre-college/pre-college-auditions

The deadline for pre-screening applications is December 1, 2019.

Jeremy Smith

Jeremy E. Smith is the Founder and Editor of Last Row Music. He received music degrees from Grace College, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Ohio State University. Currently, Jeremy is the bass trombonist of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, the Huntington Symphony Orchestra, and performs throughout Ohio, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Smith is a member of the International Trombone Association and the Jazz Journalists Association.
