U.S. Naval Academy Band Announces Brass Composition Competition
The U.S. Naval Academy Band is looking for ways to expand the repertoire for brass chamber music by holding a composition competition. Both original compositions and arrangements of public domain works (certain rules apply) are allowed for this competition that can feature a wide variety of instrumentation and style.
Three compositions will be selected and professionally recorded in 2022 as well as promoted via social media.
The deadline to submit a composition is December 1, 2021.
