Bass Trombonist Ben Van Dijk Records Duets During The Pandemic

Recently, a series of videos were shared with me highlighting the various solos, backing tracks, and duets from one of the great bass trombonists of our time. Ben van Dijk, Bass Trombonist of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, has been quite active on YouTube for many years, and with the Pandemic limiting opportunities for live, in-person performances, he has reached across the Atlantic and recorded duets with Joseph Alessi, and José Milton Vieira. A special third guest is to be announced very soon. These duets have been written by the highly talented Steven Verhelst. In addition, he has recorded numerous other videos that are overdubbed with many other trombonists throughout the world during the last 12 months.

Check out the YouTube links below for some wonderful sounds or visit his channel here. Be sure to SUBSCRIBE to see the reveal of his special third guest!
