ITG 2020 is Cancelled

Earlier this week, we announced that the 2020 International Trombone Festival has been postponed. On March 27th, the International Trumpet Guild issued a statement that the 2020 conference would be cancelled. Below is a portion of the statement published on the ITG website from Grant Peters, President of the ITG:

It is with great disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 International Trumpet Guild (ITG) Conference in Columbus, Ohio, May 26-30. The safety of our attendees is our top priority, and despite our hope that the current health crisis would subside in time to meet with all of you, it has become clear that that will not be possible. National and local bans on large gatherings and the inability of our international colleagues to travel only reinforce the appropriateness of this decision.

As this year would have been the 45th Annual ITG Conference, that special landmark will be held for next year’s conference in Anaheim, California. The dates for the new 45th ITG Conference will be June 1-5, 2021. Click here for more information.
