Trombone Scholarships Available at The Frost School of Music

The Frost School of Music is pleased to announce the availability of substantial scholarships for both undergraduate and graduate level trombonists. The Stamps Brass Quintet scholarship is among the most substantive available for incoming freshman brass players. At the graduate level, Henry Mancini Fellowships and teaching assistantships provide complete tuition waivers and stipends up to $19,950 per year! Jeremy Smith

Jeremy E. Smith is the Founder and Editor of Last Row Music. He received music degrees from Grace College, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Ohio State University. Currently, Jeremy is the bass trombonist of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, the Huntington Symphony Orchestra, and performs throughout Ohio, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Smith is a member of the International Trombone Association and the Jazz Journalists Association.
