Two International Trombone Artists Join The Getzen Family

On February 10, 2022, Getzen Instruments announced that Peter Moore, Principal Trombone of the London Symphony Orchestra, joined the list of Getzen International Performing Artists. Moore will be playing on the Getzen 4147IB Custom Reserve.

On March 9, 2022, Getzen announced that Isobel Daws, a member of the award-winning BONE-AFIDE Trombone Quartet, is also now a Getzen International Performing Artist, playing on the Getzen 4147IB Custom Reserve. Daws recently won a position with the Karajan Academy at the Berlin Philharmonic.

Jeremy E. Smith is the Founder and Editor of Last Row Music. He received music degrees from Grace College, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Ohio State University. Currently, Jeremy is the bass trombonist of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, the Huntington Symphony Orchestra, and performs throughout Ohio, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Smith is a member of the International Trombone Association and the Jazz Journalists Association.
