Tuesdays on the Tube: Alan Baer and John Williams

I have always been in awe by anyone who can tackle John Williams’ Concerto for Tuba. For me, it actually started with hearing Charles Vernon perform the concerto on his solo CD. Since then, I have heard other recitals and recordings of the piece. This live performance of Alan Baer from the New York Philharmonic is inspiring especially at the tempo it is taken and with the incredible piano accompaniment. Give the piece an entire listen and enjoy!
