16 Advance In The Brass Category Of The International Tchaikovsky Competition

Beginning on Tuesday, June 25th, 16 participants will compete in the Second Round of the 16th International Tchaikovsky Competition. After three days of competition, these 16 were selected from a strong, contested pool 46 international participants. The Second Round will start at 3:00 AM (EST) on Tuesday, June 25th at the State Academic Chapel of St. Petersburg.

Jeremy Smith

Jeremy E. Smith is the Founder and Editor of Last Row Music. He received music degrees from Grace College, Carnegie Mellon University, and The Ohio State University. Currently, Jeremy is the bass trombonist of the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra, the Huntington Symphony Orchestra, and performs throughout Ohio, where he lives with his wife and two sons. Smith is a member of the International Trombone Association and the Jazz Journalists Association.
