Shell Lake Arts Center Trombone Workshop

The Trombone Workshop at Shell Lake Arts Center is a fun and educational experience aimed at increasing musicianship in any trombonist – from beginner to advanced player! The trombone workshop is geared towards trombonists completing grades 7-12, and motivated 6th graders and is located in beautiful Northwoods Wisconsin. Campers will perform in large and small ensembles, receive private lessons from camp faculty, perform chamber music, learn jazz improvisation, and perform together on a final concert.

Trombone Workshop Faculty for 2026 includes:
-Dr. Phil Ostrander, Camp Director – UW-Eau Claire, Minnesota Opera
-Dr. Josh Becker, Faculty – ISD 196, Carleton College
-Dr. Carson King-Fournier, Faculty – UW-Whitewater
-Ms. Addie Monk, Faculty – Osseo-Fairchild Schools (WI)
