Music Students: Take Advantage of Summer 2020

While COVID-19 is taking a painful toll on the arts and society, the drive and hustle by artists is keeping the music alive. Now – possibly more than any other summer – we are seeing musicians offering festivals and workshops to still educate and mentor the next generation. Certainly, in-person masterclasses, lessons, and discussions can never be replaced. However, summer 2020 can still be a productive and beneficial summer for the musician who is wanting to perfect their craft in between semesters.

Brass Events Calendar

In the past, a seminar or workshop cost hundreds, if not, thousands of dollars to attend. This summer’s various online learning options are looking to cost a couple of hundred dollars or less (some even for free). All of this plus you do not have to pay for travel, room, and food at an in-person seminar. I certainly do not want to negate the fact that in-person summer festivities are a great environment for learning and networking, but cost and travel can always be a deciding factor. By looking at the list of events on the Brass Events calendar, there is a good chance we may never see these all-star lineups “together” again – especially at the cost of some of these events.

With over twenty events on the list, if you would like your event added to our calendar, please use this form. Once received, we will have the event posted within 24 hours. We also offer a special deal on advertising options to have your product, service, or event featured on the website, specific pages, and the weekly newsletter.

Register for an event and make this a productive and musical summer!
